Laggner Building began in 1990 with Theo Laggner at the helm. Theo started his carpentry career back in 1968 with his brother Kurt, realising that there is a great future in carpentry and building. They went onto building a countless number of homes throughout Canberra including stints in Sydney and Orange NSW. Theo has experienced seeing Canberra grow into a fine city as it is today.
Steve Laggner, Theo's son, entered the building game in 1990 and quickly completed his carpentry and joinery apprenticeship with his father in 1993. Steve then went onto univiersity to gain his Construction Management and Economics Degree in building in the year 2000. As time went on Laggner Building successfully went on building many Canberra extensions and renovations in the Canberra and Queanbeyan region.
We registered a new trade mark in 2006 - "Building Tomorrows Heritage"™(Trade Mark Number 1129603). We believe your home will last into the distant future, becoming your heritage. Our current name Laggner Constructions was established in the year 2012.
After a few years of putting off retirement due to the love of the industry, Theo hung up his nail bag in 2012 to rekindle his passion with opals. Theo passed on years of knowledge and enthusiasm to both of his sons. Steve became the proud operator of Laggner Constructions Pty Ltd and is looking firmly towards a bright future to building tomorrows heritage™ in the Canberra area. Steves brother Andrew is solidly working within the company as the assistant carpenter.
In 2015 Laggner Constructions celebrated it's 25th year in building in the local area of Canberra. We continue to serve the Canberra region and build custom dwellings for each of our clients.
